The Callan School, London

Founded in 1960, the Callan School of English is the largest Private English School in Europe, and uses the Callan Method.

Located in the busy city centre, this exciting area offers students a huge amount to do and see. The School gives you a legally-valid written guarantee that it will get you to the level of (and through) the Cambridge exams in a quarter of the time taken by any other school (not using the Callan Method) in London, or through any other exam at the same level. And if you fail the exams, we will provide free lessons until successful.

The Callan School's 86 classrooms and 2500 students make it the largest English school in Europe.

Because of the Callan School's relatively small classes of 6 to 14 students, (the average being 8), the Callan students enjoy at least 40% more speaking time than at most other schools. 12 of the 28 schools in central London put 15 to 20 students in a class. Students in a class of 14 enjoy 43% more speaking time than those in a class of 20.

The large size of the School allows it to grade students far more accurately than other schools and to fit them into courses at exactly their level and speed of learning. Despite its great size, the School has retained its intimate atmosphere and personal service by dividing itself into small self-contained departments.
