There are thousands of people in the world today, of all ages, nationalities and abilities, who want to learn English but cannot attend an English language school or find a suitable English teacher to help them. With these people in mind, the Callan Method Organisation is introducing a new version of the Method, adapted so that students can Teach-Each-Other English to a high level without the assistance of a school or a teacher.

Teach-Each-Other is a new way for students to learn or simply to improve their English.

Our Teach-Each-Other Method should not be confused with “Teach Yourself” systems, which most students find boring and soon abandon. How many people do you know who have successfully taught themselves English? We imagine it's very few.

With a little application and perseverance, our students boast that they have successfully taught themselves English using only the Teach-Each-Other system.

Learning with Teach-Each-Other

The Callan Method can be used by students to Teach-Each-Other English without the need of a teacher or a school. This is because the Method is uniquely scripted in a word-for-word question-answer format. One student asks the questions whilst the other student (with the book closed) answers them. Halfway in the lesson they reverse roles.

To learn English successfully it is vital that students know their grammar. The Method teaches all aspects of English grammar, including the subjunctive, reflexive pronouns, passive voice etc. It does so in a non-traditional manner and instead of completing written exercises students are encouraged to learn English through practical use.

The Method starts by training students to 'think' in English. If students attempt to write too soon, they will only try to force English into the same structure as their own language.

The Teach-Each-Other English system contains twelve eBooks which take students from a basic to an advanced understanding of English. As students work their way through the eBooks they soon reach the levels required to pass the Cambridge exams (as set out below) and they will be able to go forward for the exams if they wish.

Key to English Test: KET is an elementary level exam. It tests the ability to cope with everyday written and spoken communications at a basic level	Preliminary English Test: PET is an intermediate level exam. It tests the ability to cope with everyday written and spoken communications.	First Certificate in English: FCE is an upper intermediate level exam. It tests the ability to deal confidently with a range of written and spoken communications.

Not only is the Method the fastest method of learning English on the market today, it is also much cheaper than any other teaching methods available. It consists of twelve eBooks which take students with no prior English experience right through to the Cambridge First Certificate which is equivalent to Level 6 of ILTS (International Language Testing System) another Cambridge exam.

Each eBook is sold separately. For a mere £18, the price of the first four eBooks, students can prepare themselves for the Cambridge "Key to English Test".

Students who purchase the first six eBooks (£27) can prepare themselves for the Cambridge "Preliminary English Test". Students who purchase all twelve eBooks (£54) can prepare themselves for the Cambridge "First Certificate in English". With any other method, these costs would be at least five or six times greater and the average time spent studying English by students would be four times longer.
